Together with DECO for TLS web session proofs, institutions are able to drastically reduce counterparty risks through non-custodial smart contracts, while retaining the privacy benefits provided by the centralized agreement structures of today.
I expect a near term usecase in something like the Baseline Protocol makes a lot of sense, but I’m having a failure of imagination to picture other near term uses.
